Okay, week 34... Wow, that came fast... It's really amazing how quickly everything happens. We have the nursery just about ready and now we just wait for Henry to arrive. In the meantime, mommy is exhausted, and probably daddy too. It seems like I'm in and out of bed 300 times a night! Such a mystery why I'm tired right... I went to the doctor yesterday..... Henry is great and mommy needs to cut back on working. Just as well I suppose. It's getting harder and harder to get motivated.

Anyhoo.... That's where we are today. Hope you're all  doing well too!

Labor and Delivery...

So Ray and I went to the hospital last night and had our tour of the facility. The hospital itself is fabulous - the tour guide "Doula" notsomuch.... By the time we left I was about as nervous as one person can really be. She basically went through every possible thing that "could" happen. Now maybe there are some people that truly want to know every little detail and that helps them to prepare - but I'm not that way. I am a big believer in ignorance being pure bliss. Especially in this case. But - what's done is done. There is no going back - not that I would.  But to be clear - I'm TERRIFIED!!!!!!

I'll write again soon!

Stuff.....

I know it's been a while.. We've been busy and tired... But a small update... Saw the doctor on Tuesday. All is well with lil' Henry. He's progressing just as the doctors would like. Mommy however, notsomuch! The doctors would like mommy to eat more. That's right - more. I feel like all I do is eat. But, so it goes, I will eat more. What I'll eat - remains to be seen. :)

Went to parenting class last night. I thought it would be good for Ray and I to see what the so called experts thought we should be aware of. Its all so simple. I mean, they went over cleaning the belly button, bathing and feeding. I guess if you've never been around a baby before this type of "education" could be very helpful. For me though, it was kind of boring. On the up side, we got to see a brand new baby - 7lbs 9oz. That was cool.

Anyway, hope all is well...

See you soon!

3D/4D Ultrasound

What a day! Today was our 3D/4D Ultrasound. We got to see everything.. Our baby boy is just the cutest! He has big chubby cheeks, and an adorable chin! Daddy thinks he looks like mommy.. I can't tell.. But I'm going to let the pictures tell the story... Enjoy!

Just another day...

87 DAYS! Wow!! I can't believe how close we are. Henry is really growing. I was getting dressed yesterday morning, and couldn't believe how tight MY CLOTHES are. It's so good to see him gaining weight and getting bigger. I also notice his increasing size when I sleep - or should I say - try to sleep. If I'm too much on one side, he lets me know that he feels crowded. Kick, kick, kick... He's just like his daddy. He definitely knows what he likes.. HAHAHA..

This is such an amazing experience. Everyday something else happens to make it even more "real" than it was before. I was at work, and one of my coworkers actually saw my belly move - kind of like a wave. For me this was a totally normal experience (roll, kick) for them, not so much.. I think they were both grossed out AND horrified. My brother too... He's interested until he actually sees it. Then, its just wrong, and he has to leave to the room - LOL!! My sister on the other hand would have her hands sewn to my stomach if she could.. :) I love watching others react.. hahaha...

Well anyway, back to life... :)

The joys of the registry!

Its really amazing how much we don't know. We've been working to create an "appropriate" baby registry but how are you supposed to know what to include??!! Everyone has opinion of course. Add this, take this off, oh you forgot this. But really, there is no instruction booklet. Babies r us gave us a guide, but is that good enough? How much do you really need to start out? It would seem to me, that a crib, a car seat, some clothes, and diapers would be sufficient. But what do I know?

On a different note.... We went out and picked up some of the cutest clothes ever.. We got him little overalls, some polos, and the sweetest little socks. This is the fun stuff. Shopping, planning and hoping.

Just can't wait!!!! :)
